Criteria of the Global AIESEC Awards

Overall Criteria for all Global AIESEC Awards
- All candidates must be considered as role-models for the existing and future AIESEC
generations, through exemplifying AIESEC’s values.
- All candidates should have 10 years of experience after AIESEC, with the exception of the Young
Alumni Contribution Award, where candidates should have at least 5 years of experience after
AIESEC, and the exception of the Hall of Fame Award where the minimum age is 45.
- All candidates must show continued interest in and support to current AIESEC initiatives,
whether on a local, national or international level.

Specific Criteria for the Global AIESEC Hall of Fame Award
This award is presented to those alumni who had an outstanding contribution
while being in AIESEC and after leaving the organization and who have demonstrated active
leadership throughout their lives. They are still involved in local, national or international
activities offering advice and support to the AIESEC membership.
- Achievements, team contribution and leadership demonstrated during the membership in
AIESEC
- Level of involvement at national and international level with AIESEC as an alumnus
- Success in personal career
- Contribution to the community after AIESEC
- The positive impact of the candidate must be tangible and publicly recognised
- All candidates should have at least 20 years of experience after AIESEC, or be at least 45
years old

Specific Criteria for the Global AIESEC Entrepreneurship and Leadership Award
This award is presented to an alumnus who has made a considerable achievement
as an entrepreneur and leader in his/her field of engagement.
- Achievements, team contribution and leadership demonstrated during the membership in
AIESEC
- Level of involvement at national and international level with AIESEC as an
alumnus
- Personal achievements as an entrepreneur and a leader after AIESEC, in a particular area
(business, politics, education, social sector etc)
- The success and innovation of the enterprise, organization or product and level of leadership
demonstrated in nominee’s involvement as an entrepreneur;
- The positive impact of the candidate must be tangible and publicly recognised
- The sustainability of the initiative (minimum 5 years)

Specific Criteria for the Global AIESEC Contribution Award
This award is presented to those individuals who make an outstanding
contribution to AIESEC in their countries by participating in a wide range of activities, including
national conferences, partnerships, Alumni Clubs and Associations and serving on Boards of
Member/National Committees.The award can also be received by individuals who are not alumni of
AIESEC.
- Achievements, team contribution and leadership demonstrated during the membership in AIESEC
(for alumni)
- Candidates do not have to be AIESEC alumni
- Level of involvement at national and international level with AIESEC as an alumnus (or in
general for non-alumni candidates)
- All AIESEC alumni candidates should have at least 10 years of experience after
AIESEC
- The positive impact of the candidate must be tangible and publicly recognised
- Success in personal career

Specific Criteria for the Global Young AIESEC Alumni Contribution Award (new in
2008)
This award is presented to those young alumni who make an outstanding
contribution to AIESEC in their countries by participating in a wide range of activities, including
national conferences, partnerships, Alumni Clubs and Associations and serving on Boards of
Member/National Committees.
- Achievements, team contribution and leadership demonstrated during the membership in
AIESEC
- All candidates should have at least 5 years of experience after AIESEC
- All AIESEC alumni candidates should have at least 10 years of experience after
AIESEC
- All candidates engage in alumni engagement and related initiatives that contribute to a
sustainable and meaningful network in (at least) the country of the candidate.
- Success in personal career
